The Indie Travel Guide to Portland

When I moved to Portland, without a job or purpose or anything cool like that, I volunteered myself to write the Indie Travel Guide Portland page for my friend Ian, the head honcho of How Does It Feel to Be Loved?. HDIF is London's best club night, as well as a terrific record label which puts out albums by Butcher Boy, Saturday Looks Good to Me, and Cats on Fire in the UK.

After wandering around in the rain for 2 months, I submitted my piece on Portland. I just realized that it's been edited and published, and you can read it here.

Hope you enjoy it!

Awesome and well-written, Joseph.

You can most certainly call yourself a "Portlander" now :)

Yeah, you can see why I'm here now. And you should totally come - it's closer than Tokyo!
